Although acting as mechanical engineering lead/manager, then CTO at Sienci Labs, a bulk of my work is more along the lines of end-to-end product development. Information about many of these products can be found online, so I'll just leave a few pretty renders below.
It's incredibly rewarding to make products that inspire creativity, and being able to see all the cool things customers make is even cooler than the machines themselves. There are machines from Sienci Labs all around the world!
At some point we started making so many cool new things I couldn't quite keep up with writing about them. Obviously, check out Sienci.com
An affordable 'Prosumer' grade CNC router capable of high speeds, and minimal amounts of tool deflection. This machine quickly became the defacto 'machine to buy' in the prosumer segment of CNC routers. We also went on to develop a much larger 4x8 AltMill, serving the entry-commercial market.
More controllers, custom routers, etc.
Flexible track system allows for mounting to surfaces of nearly any CNC router
Acrylic cover serves to allow access to the controller PCBA, and diffuses LED status lights to be visible from all angles
A prototype render of a desktop CO2 laser cutter, with all motion system design detailing and an 'MVP' enclosure design
